Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his interest in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is prepared to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, helping them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the first important trophy of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England skipper has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he previously was, and would certainly consider extending his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
